Earthlink’s Social Experiment

Earthlink has RSS and social networking.  I know, it’s odd, but they have been doing some pretty cool things lately .  They’ve got a substantial blog, Wireless trials, retail stores and even the Pandora music service.

Technorati Gets More Funding

Technorati is a great blogsearch.   There, I said it.  I like Technorati.  However, Technorati has hit some bad spots of late.  They’ve lost employees, been overrun by splogs, and have had some recent acquisition deals go bad.
But, they just got substantial funding, so all is good for Technorati for the time being, I suppose.

Mozilla’s Feed Icon

Mozilla caused a stink when they suggested that they owned the trademark to the feed icon.  So many in the community has embraced this icon.  Even Microsoft has chosen to adopt their competitor’s easily recognizable icon.
However, were it not for the community’s embracing this icon, there would be no uniform love for the feed icon.  [...]
