In order for your podcast to be visible to the mainstream search engines, you’ll have to include some sort of text within your podcast.  Whether you choose to include show notes or an actual script, you must include text.

Add this to your list of RSS tools. Feedster, a great place to go to see who is linking to your site, is now offering podcast search.  A podcast icon, ala iTunes, shows up if the item in your search results is a podcast.

While I was perusing Technorati’s new beta I happened to take a look at the most popular terms, which you can find on their public beta list. It changes on a daily basis.
It’s of interest to note that their number one search today is "podcast". And this term frequently makes their top ten list.
