I’ve seen more and more podcasters use traditional blog tools to network with their listeners.  One such tool is Frappr. 
Frappr is a photo+geo mashup.  Using Google maps and Flickr (now a Yahoo! product), you can ask your listeners to pinpoint their location on the map.  When they do, you are left with:

The rumors are that Yahoo!, consistently one of the top 3 sites on Alexa and an online powerhouse, is considering buying Digg, a very popular tech-focused social bookmarking site.
Considering that Yahoo! has recently purchased Del.icio.us, Flickr, OddPost, and other ‘happening’ social sites, it only makes sense to add Digg to the foray.
