Corporate blogging is quickly coming into its own. The Internet is an awesome medium because it’s so good at putting people directly in touch with one another. Solid corporate blogging strategy takes advantage of this ability, but if not executed well, the results can be disappointing at best, and disastrous at worst.
Corporate blogging is just [...]

Earlier this month, Starbucks launched a new Web site. Launching a business Web site is nothing new, but this Starbucks site was established to capture consumer feedback and ideas about how the company should modify itself to perk up its US coffee sales. The comments have rolled in by the hundreds to the MyStarbucksIdea.com.
The site [...]

What comes to mind when you hear the word blog? Is it a bunch of words on a web page, ideally expressing a message of some sort to the reader? That is what many people first think of when they hear this word, and, initially, this is what many first time blogs are comprised of. [...]

I ran across an interesting blog post about the value of blogging. The post is from Rick Spence, a marketer and blogger in Canada. Although his post is long, it’s worth the time to read it. He details why business blogging is so effective and what it will and won’t do for [...]

At the Future of Web Apps (FOWA) conference last week, WordPress founder Matt Mullenweg threw around some interesting numbers and provided some cautionary advice to corporate bloggers.
The interesting statistic he provided is that WordPress supports more than 2.5 million blogs. That’s a huge number, but it doesn’t distinguish between corporate bloggers and personal bloggers. [...]

The two questions that many readers may be wondering when it comes to today’s topic are:
What is custom branding and design?
Why is it important to my business blog?
A blog site’s “brand” or platform really is dependent on your company’s needs, and, with the assistance of a blog marketing specialist who will be able to provide you with custom [...]

The content that you opt to include within your blog must be a perfectly planned, blog marketing strategy. When a customer first lands at your website, the percentage of them that specifically came to utilize your offered service is small. Instead, some were linked there from a search engine query based on a keyword you had [...]
