Quality AND Quantity is the Key

Just yesterday, Marketing Journal came out with a blog taken from Ryan P. Allis’s book “Zero to One Million” called The 20 Keys to Online Marketing.  Although all 20 items (which can be viewed by clicking on the link above) are quite relevant to the topic of blog marketing, it is more pertinent to take just a few of these and expand on them here.

  • First, a combination of #2 and #20:  “Have lots of quality related content” and “Blog frequently with quality content.”  It goes without saying that if you do not provide quality information on your blog, very few people, if any, will return for future readings.  This is your opportunity to place interesting content and commentary, related to your business and services, for your customers and clients to read.  And, if your readers have attempted to return to your blog several times and your business has not provided any new content, they will stop coming.

  •  And second, #18:  “Have superior customer service and have staff to answer all incoming emails within 24 hours.”  The intent of your blog is to illicit business.  If once prospective customers come to your blog, they become interested in your product, it is important for the resources to be there to answer their questions.  If they do not get a fairly immediate response, they will take their business elsewhere.
