Pointofmail.com

One of the ways businesses use to promote their corporate blogs or websites is to append the URL to the end of all their emails as a signature. The smarter businesses also add a description of their blog or site as well as a selling message to entice people to click on the link.

Now a new online service called Pointofmail.com has gone one step further. Sign up to their service and your emails can have the content of the first post of your corporate blog as your email signature. It’s an interesting way of introducing your website. But it might be troublesome for some to use because you have to manually add “.pointofmail.com” to all of your recipients’ email addresses whenever you want your blog post to be appended.

This might actually work out quite well in situations when you don’t want your post to be automatically dded to your email. For instance, when sending short emails out, or sending a multitude of emails in one day to the same person, or when your blog post is irrelevant to the recipient or when it is really long and might clutter up your recipient’s email box. So give it a shot and see how it works out for you.
