Create Command Central for Marketing Efficiency

One of the most time consuming things that any blog marketer does is constantly travel from site to site. All of the logging in and out, typing addresses, checking bookmarks…can end up costing a lot of time. By creating a command central for your social media marketing efforts, you can reduce wasted time and increase your efficiency.

I have a couple that I really like, and recently discovered a new one. Netvibes, iGoogle, and iloggo are three options to consider. Netvibes and iGoogle are the two that I have used often…both have easy to use interfaces that are highly customizable. Netvibes has format that makes it easier to return to sites that you commonly use, iGoogle has a site that makes web research a dream. Both have options for viewing the rss feeds of the sites you are tracking right on the home page.

iloogo recently popped up on my radar as a new way of aggregating sites. This platform helps you build a home page that has all of the logos of your most frequently visited sites in plain view. It is not an aggregator of information in same way that Netvibes and iGoogle are, more of a home page with graphic bookmarks.

All of these sites have the potential to increase your social media markting efficiency by centralizing your work efforts. Reducing the amount of time spent switching and searching will give you more time to implement your strategies and build your customer base.
