Blog marketing isn’t confined to brick and mortar operations by any means. In fact, the role that blogging can play in consultancy is amazingly versatile. Using blogs, RSS publishing, video and podcasting gives the consultant an amazing array of tools to broadcast their expertise to their target market. Moreover, it allows the consultant unfettered freedom to market his particular brand of wisdom to any part of the globe that they care to conduct business. Lawyers are one group of professional consultants who appear to be taking their blogging seriously.

“It really showed me that you can do so much more than the traditional marketing model,” Schwartz said. “A blog is a different way of presenting information, and the ultimate goal is to share information.”

O’Keefe told the Law Tribune in June that law firms and lawyers are launching blogs at a record pace.
