For once, politicians might just be a
few steps ahead of you.

The Pennsylvania state GOP announced on its website that it’s
launching a weekly podcast. State Senate Majority Leader David J. Brightbill is
heading this initiative.

Here’s a statement from Brightbill’s chief of
staff, Erik Arneson, "Podcasting is a great new technology, and our caucus will
use it to help keep constituents informed."

Don’t let words like "caucus"
and "constituents" fool you. This is marketing at its most basic.
