RSS and Blogging for Real Estate Power
The Inside Realestate
Journal is a realestate blog by a highly successful realtor, John Mudd.
A blog is basically an online journal, composed of short but frequent
postings in which the author shares his insights on a specific topic, his advice
and his experience. All of this leads to greater recognition for the author,
improves his name, generates media attention and drives highly targeted sales
leads and customers.
Mudd for example uses his blog to share his real estate advice and report on
the latest real estate news in his area.
Using this tactic Mudd easily generated more than 3,000 inbound links to his
site, got excellent search engine rankings for his most important keywords and
is now achieving more than 12,000 unique visitors per month. And not to mention,
the blog is driving real customers to him.
What has all of this got to do with RSS?
Mudd doesn’t do an e-mail newsletter to deliver his content –> he
only delivers it using RSS. So, if you want to see how a standard RSS feed full
of useful content looks like, just subscribe to his. Other advantages of using
RSS include increased search engine rankings, inbound links and generated
traffic.
If you want to see how other realtors are taking advantage of blogs and RSS,
just take a look at the Beautiful Santa Barbara Blog at http://www.santabarbaraproperties.com/weblog/,
which also includes links to other real estate blogs.
