Media Devices Promoting More Content
According to MediaPost, video content distributed among portable players such as iPods and cell phones will take longer form over the next couple of years. Technology research firm In-Stat predicts
that by 2008 consumers will be regularly accessing video content of lengths thirty minutes or longer. It’s not that long downloads aren’t available now, but Mediapost reports a transition made more complete by 2008.
Soon content promotion will be nearly unlimited in its format. Marketing research suggests, however, that while good entertainment can engage a viewer for hours, promotional campaigning is best kept short and sweet.
