Internal Business Blogging

Business blogging can be used as a good tool for internal business communications. As blogging moves out of the realm of isolated people putting their thoughts to screen, blogging technology will become more advanced to accomodate those that want to use blogging to keep in touch and disseminate information. Meryl K. Evans and Hank Stroll make a good point about the use of corporate blogging:

Blogs do more than just give the blogger to a place to share thoughts
in a public forum where anyone can read it. Businesses use blogs for
internal communications, such as when a CEO keeps employees informed on
the company’s direction, goals, and plans; project team members update
each other; and a group communicates about creating documentation and
processes.
