In an effort to make RSS technology more accessible to small business owners, a company called Fedafi has opened an RSS channel for small businesses. The idea is to  purposes to reach wide, yet targeted audiences. From a PR Web news release:

Fedafi makes the creation, management, marketing and tracking of RSS
and Podcast feeds easy by eliminating the need for any technical
knowledge of XML. Simple to install and easy to use Fedafi breaks down
technical barriers and allows anyone to create RSS and iTunes valid
podcast feeds for their business, while tracking both subscribers and
clicks on outbound links or media downloads…

“With the introduction of live bookmarking in FireFox and Windows Live
users have a way of transparently accessing RSS, but not every website
has the ability to deliver RSS. As more and more people just don’t want
to part with their email address to be kept up to date with company
information, RSS becomes a natural addition to a websites means of
communication. It’s fast, simple and spam free.”
