One of the features of Microsoft’s new blogging technology software is WYSIWYG, which allows bloggers to more easily handle layout on blogs. Additionally, the blogging software, called Windows Live Writer, comes with a kit to help blog developers to extend the application, connecting with services such as tagging and photo sites. Outside blogging services are also supported, including WordPress, Blogger, TypePad and LiveJournal. Third party APIs, such as those from MetaWeblog and Moveable Type are also supported.
