When creating a strategy for content promotion, don’t leave out email. Your email marketing materials represent an important part of your business marketing strategy. And that means that they should be interesting and compelling. Creating email messages that recipients want to open and read is key. Robb Wilson offers some great tips on designing an email that your cusomters just can’t relegate to the trash:

  • Keep the design consistent so that customers become familiar with it and anticipate it.
  • Send the message at the same time of day, and during the same time of the week or month.
  • Keep the sender line the same
  • Create content that is relevant and "personal"
