Microsoft ventured into the ‘original video’ business in the mid-late 90s, but due to slow dial up connections was unable to find a business model that would work.  However, if once you do not succeed, try, try again.

MSN Originals will be created by Reveille, the creators of The Office and The Biggest Loser.

MediaPost says they have some catching up to do as Yahoo! and AOL have been working on this for months, but by contracting Reveille to create their shows, I think they’ve one-upped these two already.
