AOL’s Blogging Stocks
AOL is launching a financial blog network, Blogging Stocks. The company who’s invested heavily into blogging and video to create a Web 2.0 portal (as opposed to their Web 1.0 portal that wasn’t working) is branching out to include financial blogs.
The network, dubbed Blogging Stocks,
will initially cover Time Warner, AOL’s parent company, as well as
Google, Yahoo, Microsoft, Apple, eBay, Wal-Mart and General Electric.
More companies will be added later.
They are trying to reach a mainstream audience, rather than continue to reach current blog readers. Financial blogs would do just that.
