Dynamic Content Gives Your Reader Value
Pulling in dynamic content, via RSS, adds value to your blog.
This week’s focus is on the three dynamic pulls Blogsites offer. Part
One focused on Guest Weblogs. Part Two on Real-Time News.
This final installment on dynamic content focuses on Briefings. On this blog the briefings are titled "RSS Applied Briefings" and they also fall in the right sidebar of the blog.
As with the other ‘pulls’, we are syndicating an RSS feed right on the site. In fact, the briefings are very similar to the Real-Time News because both are pulling ’search-term’ feeds. The difference between the two is that the Real-Time News is pulling ‘fresh’ news from Google News or Yahoo News. The briefings are pulling strictly relevant (not filtering out old news) searches from Google or Yahoo.
The value to the reader here is amazing. If they get bored with your writing, which will happen, they have topic-specific news and briefings with which to continue learning.
And, you benefit because you know all the content you are pulling is on-topic and full of your keywords, because those keywords are what you used to pull the info to your site.
