Do You Think Before You Post
Do you just put up a link and a blockquote and consider your blogging job done? Of course, this repurposing of news is excellent for SEO, but if you are also blogging for PR or even because you enjoy it you need to think about post a substantial post.
Sometimes I catch myself finding anything and everything that might appeal to my audience, checking in with myself to see if this is in line with the purpose of this blog, then posting away. I grope around through hundreds of resources, looking here and there and everywhere to add content to my blog. But do I ever stop and think about what I’m writing? Do you?
Of course I can appreciate the irony that this is a blockquote post, but I really didn’t feel I could add much to this advice.
Successful business blogging requires thought. Consider your purpose. Consider your audience.
