SimpleTicket Takes RSS to IT Technicians Via Ruby on Rails
I don’t usually go really technical here, but when I noticed the new open-source trouble ticketing system, SimpleTicket, had integrated RSS from day one I had to bring it to your attention.
Looking for RSS feeds for users and techncians? SimpleTicket offers RSS. How about tagging for tickets? SimpleTicket uses Tags.
SimpleTicket is a new initiative by Architel that runs on Ruby on Rails and sports Ajax as well. It’s designed, specifically, to make an IT department more productive and better able to serve the rest of the company.
