Technorati Woes
After my last post, you’d think Tecnorati was doing better. And, while I do see improvement, I need to point out their vast underreporting of blog updates.
PS – I’m still a bit over Technorati as it’s now showing this blog as not having been updated for 207 days and there’s still no word from them on my enquiries.
I know this stems from issues with pings, and I wonder if it has anything to do with the blog platform? I’ve seen posts about this on WordPress blogs and on TypePad blogs. I’ve not seen any of the others (Blogger, MT, Blogsite, Drupal, etc.) complain of underreporting from Technorati.
Looks like it’s not hurting Darren’s Technorati ratings though. He’s in the top 100 blogs on that engine, and deservedly so.
