Review of Hill and Knowlton’s Corporate Blog
Being a large company, Hill and Knowlton’s blog should be a great blog, even though large companies often miss the mark. Yet in the case of Hill and Knowlton, the company has done a great job implementing their corporate blog.
Their content is good, and it’s updated in a timely fashion. Most days see updates to the blog 2-3 times. Their design is clean and largely progressive, with seperate blogs for teams and individual blogs to focus on a wide array of company-specific topics.
Pay special attention to the About Page. Filled with great tips, most of which would be considered warnings, but combined with the Sun Microsystem blog policy, could be used to write your own blogging policy.
Overall: You’re probably wondering if Hill and Knowlton paid me to write this. They didn’t, but they may as well have: I can’t find any weaknesses in this corporate blog. Okay, maybe a small nitpick: there’s no "central" corporate blog. It might be nice if they had one, so "zero attention span" types like me could locate basic company news at a glance. I highly recommend that business owners and entrepeneurs take a good, long look at how Hill and Knowlton is harnessing the power of collaborative corporate blogging. — Business BlogWire
